With the cars packed and fueled, O, and one last unexpected incident with the van. We had to replace the brakes and a caliper...We were set to go!
We hit I-80 East and had to fight Utah traffic for about an hour. The one thing that I noticed once we got out of Utah is the nature of the drivers...more mature and less narcissistic! (you know what I'm talking about! lol!)
Though, once we hit Wyoming it was desert and more desert! I am use to seeing the red in the mountains of Utah. Wyoming had almost a green in theirs. I am curious what changes their color. I know Iron is the color changing element in Utah. (Nerd!)
We hit Rock Springs within 2.5 hours. Not too bad! This was a quick first day, so fast that I forgot to take pictures. However, let's be honest, there is nothing in Rock Springs worth taking images of. The only thing noteworthy is their 'Classic Rock' station!
