Summer...Summer is long gone!  The weather in Harrisonburg is about 65 degrees in the early mornings and maybe 80's in the afternoon.  It has rained about twice each week since we moved here.  This isn't any ordinary rain!  Thunder and lightning storms with constant down pouring!

Hannah has officially started second grade!

Sweet little girl, she did her crying the first couple of days, but has slowly been making friends! She enjoys her new teacher. It's something like,
Mr. Womperpole...When Hannah states it, she says it so fast that I don't quite understand and I think she says it quickly because she lacks confident in saying it.  Which I don't blame her. It's a tough name.

She got off the bus, the first day with a bit of longing.  The school didn't tell us that she had PE on the first day of school!!!  Having nothing else to protect her feet, she ran in her pretty sandals...ya they broke! These busted sandals eventually worked a blister onto her toe!  Poor girl had a bit of a rough first day.

Here is my school: www.jmu.edu
It is located in Harrisonburg, VA!

I began my PA program with two days of orientation!  Rules, regulations, crossing and dotting! Tours, HIPAA...I think you get the idea. We were shown the cadaver lab.  Seven new bodies for us.

The Dukes!!!

You should see the stack of books I have for this first semester!  3 books for one class?!  I am taking Anatomy, Pathpsyiology, Physical Diagnosis, and Physician Assistant Profession.

The best part was meeting everyone. Putting a face to a picture.  The James Madison University PA group put together a Facebook page, so for the last couple of months we have conversing.

Here is the back side of the buildings...There are 3 attached to each other.

Here is the front view. For the most part, we will be spending most of our time in the middle and last buildings.

The second day of orientation, we had just finished up the lame library stuff...it's as if we hadn't done research before.  Anyways, I took two steps outside and it began to down pour!!!  Heavy water drops fell fast, soaking everything they touched! I did my best to run to this building which is two away from the library.  I ended up staying captive under a covered bus stop. I eventually ran inside where I waited it out.  I then proceeded home on my now, nicely washed mountain bike!

There is approximately 25 students in our program!  All of which seem dedicated!  We have all fought to get to this point and it is time we uplift and motivate each other to fight through this!

Good lack to the two of you as you both start a new school year. Now I know why everything was so nice and green there
